Apps and text-message agents now find an event, sign you up, seat you at a table of strangers, or plan a trip. This page compares Partyline with the ones we think are strongest at each of those jobs. We make Partyline, so read this as one side of the comparison. The Partyline column comes from our own product. The other five were read from public pages on 2026-09-29, and where we could not confirm something the cell says so.

What it does for you
The difference that matters most is between a product that lists events, one that signs you up, and one that puts you next to other people. Timeleft does all three, but only for its own dinners, drinks and runs. Partyline does them for events it finds, signing you up when the ticket is free, and also helps with trips.

Control and privacy
Almost none of these products publish more than a link to a privacy policy, so this section is a list of what each says.
- Partyline: sending an email needs your approval on a card that shows the recipients, subject and body. Passwords and card details you save in the Partyline vault are encrypted before storage and are not shown to the model. Anything you type in a chat message is processed by the model, so do not send passwords or card numbers in a text. Sharing that you are going to an event is off by default. Each person's conversations, profile and memory stay in their own account.
- Timeleft: uses vetted public venues, never private addresses. Members use real names and photos and must be 18 or older. Its claim that 94% of group chats are never flagged for a safety concern comes from its own blog.
- Series: lets two people chat privately without exchanging phone numbers.
- Luma: publishes a security page covering payment data and infrastructure, which we did not review in detail.
- Partiful and Layla: no data-handling, memory or deletion details found beyond a policy link.
Sources and limits
- Public pages were read on 2026-09-29, many through a summarizing tool. Details and prices may differ on the live pages.
- Series is the only other AI agent for going out on iMessage that we found. We found nothing showing it finds events or plans trips, so those cells are not offered or unknown.
- Layla's paid tier was not confirmed on its own site, so pricing is left out of the tables.
- We left out Poke and szn (general text agents), Pie, Bumble BFF, 222, Meetup, Mindtrip, Couchsurfing and others to keep the comparison to the best fit for each job.
